Tonight, we rounded off our trip with the Smith Family Dinner Theatre, which was an amazing experience. Unfortunately, I forgot my camera, so I only have the professional image of the flyer. But, the show was a great experience. The Smith Family, featuring father Charlie and son Charlie Bob and his wife Jill, performed a number of impersonations musicians through the ages including such diversity as Elvis, Willie Nelson, Ray Charles, and Kermit the Frog. Additionally, they included original songs and a few gospel numbers as well.

One of the unique things about the Smith Family Dinner Theater is the way they pull the audience into the show (sometimes quite literally, as in the case of the intermission hoola hoop competition). They tape every show, and audience members can purchase DVD’s of the show they watched. This is a special treat for those celebrating birthdays or anniversaries, which they recognize publicly from the stage. All in all, it was a great end of a wonderful week.
